That's so far over my head that I'm afraid I'd just end up frustrated even trying. It's from reading things like that that I haven't even attempted to install those programs yet. I think I'll fiddle with SSS Progman next. V57, You lose your coding options from V44 but I'm just looking to get DIS for diagnostics. In there, you press ctrl+prnt scrn > vi ediagbias.ini and check that the remote host is 192.168.68.1 and the remote name is diaghead save the ini file and reboot. Once it's done you have to double check the ediagbias.ini on the VM side by going to the Calibration touch shield option. I installed over the DIS v44 by going to administration > installation > v57 cd and waited forever for it to install. I upgraded to v57 on DIS to allow it to read E90s as well. This means that each time it restarts you've got to (in VMware at least) press ESC and select boot from CD. Once you've swapped to the "BMW GT1 Base V39", it reboots about 3 or 4 times before installing. In VMWare when booting from "BMW Install CD GT1 V1.1.nrg":ĭisk partition error seemed to go when I set to hard disk size (pre-allocated) to 18.65GB this could have been a coincidence but stick at it! It does work.ģ. I must point out I'm not very good at following instructions.Ģ. I'm a software engineer and it's taken me weeks. You must follow the guide by shoulders letter for letter. Failing APItest: but I just wanted to share my experiences thus far.ġ. I've install GT1/DIS finally but I haven't got it working with hardware yet.
